Motel Coeur D'alene

Asked for a refund. Liked: The view from outside was amazing. Disliked: The room appeared to need a full remodel. Bed side lamps did not work. No trash can. Bathroom sink clogged. Dirty. Stove hood was greasy, lots of spiders. Couldn't shut off the lights because I was afraid bugs would come out. I would have left but I had no way to leave once I saw . I just wanted a quiet night in a cozy room and to relax.

Liked: The office staff that greeted me upon arrival was extremely kind and welcoming. The decor was unexpectedly whimsical. There were ample pillows with differing softness to choose from. Disliked: Not being familiar with the area, I felt a bit secluded and vulnerable in my room at the end of the backside of the building. I struggled with a few of the remotes for TV and heater in the room not working, but finally found one that did the trick.

By far one of the worst hotel days I probably be worse hotel stay I've had ever and I've been stayin Liked: We checked out at 2:30 in the morning so we could not rate the breakfast but if it was overrun with spiders we probably wouldn't have eaten it the facility our room is infested with I probably counted I have pictures I hope they let me post these but there must have been 400 spiders who has Arachnophobia by the way so that's no laughing matter so we had to leave at 2:30 in the morning and drive back to Washington state from Idaho on her birthday of all days. Disliked: Number one our room was infested with spiders number two they would not answer the door to change our rooms number three I understand is a family-owned business and they have to sleep at nights too but you still have to meet the needs of the customer so the married owner team should be splitting there one 12-hour day shift in one 12-hour night shift so that there's always somebody there to help in these situations my stay at the Bennett Bay inn is probably going to be the last time I stayed there and I've been staying there for over 25 years
